Therapy Departments

Depending on the specific needs of a learner, therapy is given on an individual or group basis.

Therapies include:

  • Physiotherapy
  • Speech and Language Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Psychologist

Therapists complement the work of the teachers. Most children leave their classroom for treatment but Occupational and Speech therapists also conduct weekly group sessions in classrooms, particularly in the lower grades, where developmental needs might be quite similar.

Psychologists co-ordinate each learner’s individual program and liaise with parents regarding individual needs. They also provide counseling and support to parents and learners.
